Training and Qualificiations
In order to give you the best treatment possible, I believe it is important for me to continue to train and grow.
I qualified in anatomy, physiology and body massage in 2001 and as a reflexologist in 2003 with the International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC). I am a full member with the CThA (Complementary Therapists Association) and full member of the AOR and I am fully insured.
After my initial training at City Lit, London, I went on to study Meridian Reflexology in 2005, the Inge Dougans method, at the Oxford School of Reflexology. This combined the Eastern and Western approach to reflexology. I have also attended many courses with the Association of Reflexologists.
As reflexology evolves and is recognised worldwide, I continue with advanced specialist courses with some of our great pioneers from the UK and overseas.
Gaining experience of the different approaches and forms of reflexology I have studied with:
Tony Porter Advanced Reflexology Techniques (ART),
(Tony is the founder of ART and Focused Reflexology an International lecturer and Tutor since 1972)
Hagar Basis Reflexology Academy, London
(Director of the Academy, London - 25 years providing consultancy and training internationally)
Hanne Marquardt Germany
(Founder of 15 reflexology schools through Germany and lectures globally)
Dr Jesus Manzanares M.D. The Manzanares Method™, Spain
(Dr Jesus Manzanares gives a science-based approach to Reflexology)
Sally Kay RLD (Reflexology Lymph Drainage) Researched and developed by Sally - Practitioner, Tutor, Researcher and Author.
Mr. Spiros Dimitrakoulas
(Orthopedic – working the bones, muscles, ligaments and tendons,
Spiros is from Quebec and is now based in Athens, Greece where he teaches and also internationally)
If you would like to book an appointment or ask any questions about reflexology in Hockley, near Rochford and Rayleigh, please call or e-mail me.
I have great admiration for all of these tutors who constantly travel and teach the wonderful benefits of reflexology.
